Very sad to be leaving all my vintage chums in Bucks, and thank you to all of you who made a special effort to come and see me to say goodbye at Hambleden.

Good to welcome new celeb Russell Brand & partner Laura to the village, but Russell was more interested in joining the WI than buying vintage this time.

Will be shell-shocked in Norfolk this time next week.

Please keep logging-on, as a site re-vamp is in the offing.

The Old Home Store is packing up lots of Valentine, Mothers' Day and Easter goodies for Hambleden Covered Market tomorrow.

This will be the last one for TOHS as the relocation and re-launch in Norfolk is now imminent.

Watch out for more news later on in March.

Please pop in to say 'good bye.'

May try to make some guest appearances to advertise the new venture, and added holiday lets in gorgeous rustic cottages North Norfolk style of course - and added Norfolk and new American vintage stock.

The Old Home Store was at the lovely, lovely Vintage Bazaar last Saturday.

Thank you to all of my customers - returning and new.

The Vintage American Christmas Pins (brooches) went down a storm, so there will be some very festive people down west this year.

The American vintage childrens' items were also very popular - need to replace a lot of that stock on my next buying trip in January.

Lots of Christmas cookies will also be baked as customers tackle their newly acquired vintage American cutters and springerle. The excellent Christmas recipe box with vintage recipe collection for the festive season also went to a highly delighted regular customer.

Houses will be adorned with vintage and antique hyacinth vases - I was suprised that quite a number of customers didn't know what they were, and how hyacinths are forced for Christmas flowering.

The old Rupert annuals and American Golden Books were also popular.

Still lots left for Hambleden on 12th. So, see you there!

What a fabulous turn-out for 'Christmas at the General Store' in the Cozy Club, Gerrard's Cross.

Thank you to Chris for arranging such a fab event, and thank you to all new customers who came to buy from The Old Home Store. I hope to see you all again - either at Devizes, or Hambleden before Christmas.

It was a pleasure to be involved in such a well organised and beautifully formed event - and not least of which the support it gives to the childhood cancer charity, 'William's Fund.'
